Simply Homemade

When Danielle founded Simply Homemade, she had just welcomed her second child and knew she did not want to return to the traditional workforce. With the support of her husband, she decided to build something of her own—rooted in family, food, and freedom.

Danielle’s love for cooking began long before Simply Homemade. Growing up in her family’s restaurant, she learned firsthand from her grandmother and mother. From helping prepare meals to waitressing and creating her own recipes, she developed a deep appreciation for both food and entrepreneurship.

In 2010, Danielle graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. She went on to build experience in corporate environments while continuing to feel called toward entrepreneurship. Later, she earned both her M.S. in Leadership and Management and her MBA.

Simply Homemade was created to offer homemade meals made from scratch—bringing comfort, quality, and balance to busy families and professionals. Inspired by the meals Danielle grew up eating, each menu item reflects tradition with her own elevated twist.

As the business evolved, Danielle recognized that her greater mission was bigger than catering alone. She shifted Simply Homemade into a broader food lifestyle brand focused on helping families enjoy quality meals while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

In November 2025, Danielle launched Simply Savory & Sweet, a product line featuring handcrafted seasonings, sauces, and condiments inspired by recipes developed through years of cooking. Signature products include The Signature All-Purpose Seasoning and Savory Sol Chili Lime Spice.

Today, Simply Homemade continues to grow as a food resource company offering family-style meal prep, specialty baked goods placed in local businesses, seasonings, and consulting for others in the food industry.

Danielle’s mission is simple: create quality food experiences that bring people together while helping others succeed in business and in the kitchen.
